The Feed Your Good Dog Council knows that when you do good you feel good. So, right from the beginning, the Feed Your Good Dog Council decided that a portion of the net proceeds from every bracelet sold online would be donated to charity.
When you purchase a FYGD bracelet, one dollar ($1.00) from each bracelet sold online is donated either evenly between the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, The American Indian College Fund and Animals Deserve Better, or to your choice of one of the three. The Feed Your Good Dog Council knows that you will feel good because you've made a donation to worthy causes and you have something that will remind you to Feed Your Good Dog on a daily basis!
The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide.
The American Indian College Fund transforms Indian higher education by providing scholarships to American Indian students and funding and creating awareness of the unique, community-based accredited Tribal Colleges and Universities, offering students access to knowledge, skills, and cultural values which enhance their communities and the country as a whole. Tribal colleges preserve language and culture by integrating these important elements into their curriculum, ensuring that our Native American legacy isn’t lost.
Animals Deserve Better rescues animals off death row, takes in owner surrenders and works diligently to reduce the hard statistics that between 108,000 – 131,000 animals are killed in Metro Atlanta area shelters every year. Its mission is to (i) establish a Humane Education Program in schools and community organizations; (ii) establish a Disaster Relief Facility to provide temporary emergency care and shelter; and (iii) reduce the number of animals being killed in rural and community shelters.
